Make sure you stay in the superior room with the view of the castle. The hotel's location is magnificent and fab, short walk to Old town centre as well as the principal attractions of Edinburgh. The service is excellant, includes overnight parking.

The room was recently renovated and extremely pleasant with safe for my safety. The location was unbeatable and nice, overlooking the castle. I tried some drinks at bar The Blackbird, located 10 minutes walk away. There was free Wi-Fi throughout the property and the service in general was very efficient.
As for me, the area was very expensive.

In overall, the place is unusual, has extremely friendly staff with excellent service by the staff. The building is very comfortable and the rooms are neat and airy with coffee as well as slippers.

Had a real good stay with my family, we spent 2 nights here, everything was very comfortable. The location was decent for Edinburgh, right by the centre, attractions, restaurants, castle as well as Close to bus stops for transfer from.
Some people working there were not very friendly.

The property is fairly clean and simply stunning. Plentiful and superb breakfast, a wide range of food and beverages. Well presented rooms with very comfy beds, a good view plus a sofa, competent staff with excellent service by the staff. Magnificent and perfect location to everything you would need, and 10 minute walk from a historic fortress.

No complaints whatsoever, it was dope! The stay here was really enjoyable for one night. The restaurant was pretty good for evening meals, I tried tasty dishes. And btw there were nice views of the castle! The location was unbeatable and beds were good sized. I dined really close to the hotel at Encounter China.

Stayed for 2 days and didn't feel like leaving, I would stay here again. Generally, the place was quirky and had well-trained and exceptionally polite staff with excellent service by the staff. The location was perfect as for me. Nice restaurant provided vegetarian dishes.

It was such wonderful time in Edinburgh. I was travelling to Edinburgh for exploring the city. The pool was nice, the staff was pleasant. The food was delicious and the location was spectacular. I went to a pleasant restaurant and enjoyed the local dishes.
Got a little cramped room also Wi-Fi was rather slow, made me a little nervous.

An excellent stay. The staff were beautiful and I loved the traditional decorations in the room. Breakfast was enjoyable and had plenty of meals. Hotel offered a bar in the reception. Optimal location, next to Scotland, yet the area itself was pretty noisy.
